The All-New Mazda3 is Now Launched in Singapore
Following its premiere at the Singapore Motorshow in January 2019, the much-anticipated All-New Mazda3 was officially launched in Singapore by Eurokars Group in partnership with Mazda Motor Corporation to both the media and public via an Exclusive Media Showcase and a Meet-the-Program Manager session which took place on 19 and 20 July 2019 respectively at the Mazda showroom at 5 Ubi Close.

With a thorough redesign, elegant styling, and a host of new premium features, the All-New Mazda3 exudes luxury in every sense,” said Mr Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Eurokars Group.
In his welcome address, Mr Michael Wee, Managing Director of Trans Eurokars Pte Ltd said, “The All-New Mazda3 is powered by the latest SKYACTIV-G 1.5 litre M-hybrid engine that delivers both driving pleasure and outstanding fuel economy.
Fuel economy is boosted by the M-Hybrid system, which uses Mazda’s new electric device technology to regenerate energy recovered during deceleration and using it to power onboard electrical equipment. It also powers a motor that assists the engine when accelerating from a standstill, a time when the engine benefits from it most. I am pleased to point out that Singapore is the only market in the world to have the 1.5 M-Hybrid model which is ideally suited for our driving conditions. Safety standards have also been enhanced in the All-New Mazda3 which comes equipped with Mazda’s latest i-ACTIVSENSE safety system. All in all, I am confident that the All-New Mazda3, with its refined, sleek and elegant design and styling, coupled with its cutting-edge next generation technology, will raise the image and profile of the brand, and appeal to savvy and discerning car buyers in Singapore.”
Mr Kota Beppu, Program Manager of the All-New Mazda3, had this to say about the All-New Mazda3: “The All-New Mazda3 embodies two characters with widespread appeal. The first is the free spirit, determined to follow their own convictions and not be bound by conventional wisdom. This character is represented in the hatchback. To achieve such a look, we took an unprecedented approach to design that eliminates all character lines and relies entirely on lustrous and beautifully curved body panels that reflect the surrounding environment.”

Their adherence to formality and traditional styles conceals an idiomatic beauty that is breathtaking when glimpsed. This character is embodied in the sedan. Aspiring to create the most gorgeous sedan in its class, we set aside the notion of a C-segment car, removed all constraints and extended the overall length. We overcame numerous technical challenges in order to keep the hood and trunk low,” he added.
