McLaren JAKARTA TRACK DAY IN CELEBRATION OF McLaren 60TH ANNIVERSARY

From its beginnings as Bruce McLaren Motor Racing Ltd, McLaren has evolved into one of the world’s most admired racing and automotive brands. The McLaren of today is a validation of Bruce’s vision, as a producer of lightweight, carbon fibre constructed supercars and a pioneering racing team competing around the world in Formula 1, IndyCar, Formula E, Extreme E and esports.

Celebrating Bruce McLaren and 60 years of motorsport legend and passion, McLaren Jakarta, the official service partner of McLaren in Indonesia, hosted a thrilling Track Day experience with McLaren owners on Saturday, 23 September 2023 at Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit. For this special occasion, the Indonesia Owners community is reunited on the race track to push their McLaren cars to the limit on the 2400 metres long circuit.

“We are thrilled to gather and meet McLaren owners at this special day dedicated for them. There is no other perfect moment to celebrate the bold spirit of Bruce McLaren, 60 years of McLaren history and the owners’ passion for the brand.” – Michael Vetter, Managing Director of Luxury Brands Eurokars Group Indonesia.

In line with McLaren’s recommendation for any track-driving, McLaren Jakarta provided pre-track and post-track car checks at McLaren Jakarta service centre.

“Our focus is to make sure the car is ready for action in any conditions, on the track or the road. The essential pre-track and post-track checks include a thorough evaluation of the brake, fuel and ignition systems and the condition of oil and tires. The process was carried out by our certified McLaren technicians according to the high standards applied at our workshop.” – Rino Rahmadi, After Sales Manager McLaren Jakarta.

The 33rd McLaren Service Partner in the Asia Pacific network, McLaren Jakarta, began operation in August 2022. In April 2023, it introduced home visits by technicians owners resident in Java island for maintenance and diagnosis and has also added McLaren Special Operations (MSO), services to allow owners to personalize their McLarens with a wide arrange of customization.

The presence of the McLaren Artura at the track day brings the McLaren story up to the present day. With more than half a century of the company’s racing and road-car experience and expertise, McLaren’s first series-production High-Performance Hybrid supercar is a next-generation supercar that blends advanced electrification technologies with McLaren’s dedication to pure driver engagement. The result is thrilling performance, exciting driving dynamics and engagement and EV driving capability.

“We are very pleased that our customers today can be inspired by the presence of Artura and its technology as we together celebrate McLaren’s history.” – Malvina Kristianah, Brand Manager McLaren Jakarta.
