    Job Responsibilities

    The role holder reports to the Finance Manager (Porsche).

    General Ledger

    • Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly accounts.
    • To maintain the general ledger system up to trial balance and ensure that all accounts are reasonably accurate.
    • Analysis of financial reports for unusual/extra-ordinary items and to write brief note of explanation for such items.
    • Prepare GP margin analysis by car model – monthly.
    • Reconcile all balance sheet items to sub-ledgers and do a monthly analysis of all current accounts.
    • To supervise in the maintenance of the accounts payable system.
    • To supervise in the maintenance of the accounts receivable system.
    • Supervision of daily work done by accounts assistants and monitoring their performance.
    • Liaise with Operations to resolve on any discrepancy or outstanding issues.

    Others

    • Cash flow analysis – weekly update of cash inflows and reporting to Manager on major inflows.
    • Assist in GST reporting (Output tax) and audit requests.
    • Assist in vehicle costing.
    • Year-end closing of accounts includes participation in stock-take and liaising with auditors.
    • Liaise with bankers on banking matters such as L/C, T/R and invoice financing.
    • Liaise with tax agent on corporate tax submission and preparation of tax computation.
    • Checking GST schedules and returns.
    • Preparation of budget and forecast.
    • Prepare monthly sales commission and checking of incentives.
    • Fixed assets file maintenance.
    • Review monthly inter-companies balances and transactions.
    • Participate in reviewing processes periodically to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Assist in automation projects.
    • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • Possess Diploma in Accountancy / LCCI or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience with automotive industry will be preferred.
    • Experience with Autoline is an advantage.
    • A team player with positive attitude.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skill.
    • Resourceful and able to work independently.
