Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that repair jobs are carried out completely and correctly by mechanics
in accordance with MINI guidelines and regulations - Responsible for workshop capacity utilization, productivity and efficiency
- Ensures flawless work quality by means of suitable workshop equipment, test instruments and
methods - Responsible for operational and traffic safety of customers’ cars within the framework of the
repair work to be performed - Has co-responsibility for customer satisfaction by optimal technical solutions on customer
vehicles - Controls workshop staff on the basis of defined key figures (e.g. flat rate unit)
- The disciplinary management remains in the hands of the Service Manager
- Conducts annual appraisal process with his workshop employees which includes the definition
of an individual development plan for each employee - Ensures and monitors compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducts daily meetings to discuss target agreements/feedback and achievement of objectives
- Concludes the disposal contracts with appropriate companies, and checks compliance
- Checks all repair and maintenance jobs placed with third parties and ensures that the quality
and deadline keeping is correct - Matches current workshop capacity continuously with order deadlines and consults the Service
Advisor and Service Assistant - Organizes order planning based on mechanics’ qualifications, if necessary consults the Service
Advisor - Performs regular internal quality measures
- Carries out technical final checks after order processing
- Observes in compliance with applicable repair conditions
- Monitors and organizes cleanliness and tidiness in the service area
- Checks that hazardous substances, waste and disposable materials are handled and stored
correctly in accordance with waste disposal regulations
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business administration or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in handling workshop shop floor in automotive industry
- Candidates with experience in multi-franchise will be preferred
- Good knowledge on vehicle parts and vehicle troubleshooting skills
- A team player who is proactive and independent with positive attitude
- Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills including writing skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications i.e. MS Words, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Ability to work under stress in a fast pace environment
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence
